NEW DELHI: Union dwelling minister Amit Shah on Saturday stated refugees from West Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) have been supplied domicile certificates in Jammu and Kashmir.
Replying to a dialogue on Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Modification) Invoice of 2021 in Lok Sabha, Shah stated the Opposition is asking what the NDA Government has performed for Jammu and Kashmir since 2019 and requested what ruling events in Jammu and Kashmir may do within the final 70 years.
“Pakistan, West Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir refugees together with 2642 Valmiki households, 592 Gurkhas and 43 different households have been supplied domicile certificates,” he stated.
The House later handed the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Modification) Invoice, 2021 which was earlier handed by the Rajya Sabha.
He stated the federal government has ended injustice that folks confronted through the years and alleged that ruling events of Jammu and Kashmir had practised “vote financial institution” politics.
“Are human rights available for some folks, not for the refugees who got here right here from Pakistan or Kashmiri Pandits who have been compelled to run away? Not for Sufi saints? And never for the Valmikis who’ve been not supplied voting rights during the last 70 years,” Shah stated.
“Why you (earlier governments) don’t have any feeling for them? As a result of they weren’t your vote financial institution, you see human rights when it comes to vote financial institution, however we (BJP) see human rights as it’s, with none concern, you (earlier governments) don’t have any braveness,” Shah added.
He stated round 25,000 authorities jobs shall be supplied in Jammu and Kashmir by 2022.
He stated authorities land in Jammu and Kashmir shall be used for improvement work in Jammu and Kashmir and guaranteed people who nobody will lose their land.
The invoice seeks to merge the Jammu and Kashmir cadre Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian International Service (IFS) officers with that of the Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territory (AGMUT)
