Earlier on Monday, Rajya Sabha Chief of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad reiterated the Congress occasion’s demand to revive statehood standing to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Modification) Invoice, 2021was launched by the Minister of State (MoS) for Dwelling Affairs G Kishan Reddy in Rajya Sabha on February 4 to exchange Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Modification) Ordinance, 2021. The invoice was handed by the Rajya Sabha on Monday.
The brand new invoice is aimed to merge the Jammu and Kashmir cadre Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian International Service (IFS) officers with that of the Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territory (AGMUT).
