NEW DELHI: India has exported Covid-19 vaccines value Rs 338 crore until February 8, stated commerce and trade minister Piyush Goyal in Rajya Sabha on Friday.

“Whole export is about Rs 338 crore value of Covid vaccine,” he stated. The export of the Covishield vaccine manufactured by the Serum Institute of India, as authorities of India grant, stood at 62.7 lakh doses with FoB (free on board) worth of about Rs 125.4 crore. The paid exports of 1.05 crore doses, in flip, had been valued at about Rs 213.32 crore.
MEA spokesperson Anurag Srivastava later stated, “We’ll proceed to take ahead the worldwide vaccine provide. Within the coming weeks, vaccines shall be provided to extra international locations in Africa, Latin America, CARICOM (Caribbean) and Pacific Island states,” stated.
