RUDRAPRAYAG/ UTTARAKHAND: A Chinook helicopter on Saturday took off the particles of Indian Air Power’s MI-17 helicopter that caught hearth following a collision with an iron girder whereas touchdown on the helipad close to Kedarnath temple in 2018.
The particles of the MI-19 helicopter shall be carried to a close-by airbase. The preparations for lifting the particles has been happening for the final 15 days. Lately, Air Power officers visited Kedarnath Dham and took inventory of the broken helicopter.
Chinook helicopter landed on the MI-17 helipad in Kedarnath on Saturday to hold again the particles of Indian Air Power’s MI-17 helicopter.
In 2018, the Air Power’s MI-17 helicopter crashed whereas touchdown on the helipad positioned behind the Kedarnath temple. Within the incident, the pilot suffered a minor harm, whereas the helicopter was broken. IAF had left the damged MI-17 there.
