JAIPUR: In a bid to attach with farmers by way of “Kisan Mahapanchayats” held by the Congress in Hanumangarh and Sri Ganganagar districts of Rajasthan on Friday, “charpai” and “mudda” chairs had been positioned on the dais for get together chief Rahul Gandhi and others to sit down upon.
Within the first rally held at Pilibanga city of Hanumangarh, all leaders sat on cots on the stage.
Later, Gandhi addressed his second rally in Padampur city of Sri Ganganagar the place handmade “mudda” chairs had been positioned on the stage as an alternative of couch.
“This association was made for giving the stage a farmer-like really feel and to attach them with the leaders,” a celebration chief stated.
Gandhi was accompanied by chief minister Ashok Gehlot, AICC common secretary in-charge for Rajasthan Ajay Maken, AICC common secretary (organisation) K C Venugopal, state get together president Govind Dotasra and former deputy CM Sachin Pilot.
In addition to Rahul Gandhi, Govind Dotasra, Ajay Maken and Ashok Gehlot too addressed farmers.
Farmer-dominated Hanumangarh and Sri Ganganagar districts share border with Punjab, the place farmers are up within the arms in opposition to the Centre’s agriculture legal guidelines.
On Saturday, Gandhi will go to Ajmer and Nagaur districts and tackle farmers. Nagaur is a centre of farmers’ politics.
