A robust earthquake of magnitude 6.3 struck in Tajikistan on Friday with tremors felt throughout North India and Delhi, prompting individuals to hurry out of their houses.

The epicentre of the earthquake was in Tajikistan, in keeping with India’s Nationwide Middle for Seismology.

The earthquake struck at 10:34 pm IST at a depth of 10 km from the floor.
