JAMMU: Two Army personnel, together with a junior commissioned officer (JCO), have been killed in an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, officers mentioned on Friday.
In line with a defence spokesperson, the JCO and a jawan have been critically injured throughout a counter-terrorist operation within the Nar Khas forest space in Mendhar sub-division on Thursday night. Each of them succumbed to their accidents subsequently.
The operation is ongoing, he added.
