NEW DELHI: India is carefully monitoring the investigation by the native Afghan authorities within the case of Bansuri Lal Arinde, an Indian nationwide who reportedly went lacking in Kabul, stated the ministry of exterior affairs (MEA) on Thursday.
MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi stated India is in contact with the native authorities in Kabul which are investigating the case.
“We have seen a lacking individual’s stories a couple of Indian nationwide, Bansuri Lal, lacking in Kabul. We’re in contact with all involved. We have seen stories about native authorities endeavor investigation,” Bagchi stated.
“We’ll proceed to watch the scenario and let you know of any developments,” he added.
Bagchi stated that in operation Devi Shakti, the vast majority of the Indians have been evacuated besides some who have been left because of the closure of Kabul Airport.
Bagchi stated that International Minister S Jaishankar’s has departed to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit in Dushanbe to be held on Friday.
